  1. I called in at the model shop in Pickering yesterday opposite the NYMR station and they happened to have a railroad P2 in stock, I must say it looks very impressive, absolute bargain :-). I was very very tempted to buy it. But I resisted... As I have an enhanced version on preorder already. Whilst I was in the shop there was another chap, who said he's hanging on till the Bugatti/A4 front end version comes out!

  2. Apologies if this may have been already discussed earlier on in the thread ;-)

I have on pre order a TTS sound P2 mainly for display purposes in a cabinet. With the idea that one day I will build a layout to run it on.

As the idea of the TTS sound is for analogue layouts, if I decided to build my layout as a DCC digital layout would the sound still work after I have fitted a chip. Or would I be better buying the STD enhanced version and converting it to DCC sound with the correct chip etc. thanks

They are all the Hornby china fine detail newer type models (i.e. not railroad versions)

  4. Without having to trawl through 23 pages of chatter, are Hornby confirmed to be making a streamlined version in due course, given they've now got the chassis, or is it only entirely sensible speculation so far?

I've not heard any thing to be honest Tony, be nice if they did. Also a 2007 Prince of Wales would be a very popular option too.
