  1. Ok today we have a little set for a vignette that was part of a larger commission - finished these last week These are 4mm 1/76 00 - Lovely castings from Dart again Painting the pigeon was huge fun - deeeep breath before doing pigeon eyballs in 4mm scale
  2. But it's not all sexy white metal castings ... I love the Dapol ( ex Airfix ) hard plastic figures - bags of character. They do need quite a bit of clean up work before you can get some paint on them and removing the bases is a real chore and far from easy to get right but I think they still look great. This of course is a 4mm figure - you could use him on your 00 layout but he is of course not 00 gauge himself ;-)
  3. Here is one I really like - something about the face on this one It's a 7mm one and the casting is by Dart Also have decided to put a smaller picture as the big ones don't always give a great impression of how the figure will look
  4. Thanks Missy Not done any 2mm ones but this was pretty small. I was trying a new brand of brush and did this as a dare to myself - great fun doing the striped dress on the dolly
  5. Here is a 4mm - 00 Gauge one I did a few weeks back as part of a commission A gent in a very smart suit - lovely figure from Dart Castings
  6. The pictures I put on here will be a little out of sync for a while but I hope to show you a few examples of what's on my bench from time to time Here is what came off the bench today - this one from Phoenix - it's a 7mm scale figure of a foreman or boss type fellow
  7. Hi Guys Andy has kindly allowed me to tell you a little bit about what I do here on RM Web - Thank you Andy I am a figure painter who started to become interested in model railways about 18 months ago and have been reading and scheming about a layout of my own. About a year ago I grabbed a few railway figures to paint and loved the character of railway figures and did another, then another etc etc Then I decided to give up a perfectly good job and do this full time instead I am currently painting in 4mm and 7mm scales I am selling on ebay and direct for those that would like to order direct and I have a website ( that I really need to keep more updated ) at www.thepurpleprimer.co.uk Anyway that's enough for now - let me show you a few of my figures if I may ....
