  1. Awful work. Start again....! Looks great. What do you plan to do with it? Is there going to be a join where you butt it to another section of water?
  2. By the way allan, this may seem a stupid question but, what scale is the mill? 7mm Or 4mm?
  3. Really? Oh that's rebuilt a little happiness inside me! I was bought up in the 80's/90's, when films changed from animatronics and models and stop motion, jim Henson, puppets, etc to computer based animals and vehicles like jurrasic park. The latest Star Wars films were green screen all the way save the props and costumes. It's so sad that a real talent has been overshadowed by computers (although I have studied a little 2d animation and inception art like this alien I drew in photoshop using a pen and tablet... But I digress! I guess people still need models for tv. The buildings and scenery in the Wallace and gromit animations are sublime. Allan - the work I have done has rather fine gaps....back to the beginning then haha. I want to try as many techniques as possible so I will get some fire cement to see if its easier than filler. If not then I have tried something new and learned a lesson
  4. Also, I am trying out your method of plasticine, casts and fire cement to see if I prefer it to auto filler and my trusty pin on a stick. (Which is visible in the photo). I hope you don't mind!
  5. It's okay to embrace the new...even if the days of models in films has passed! These days fx is all about computers and ripped jeans.
  6. Allan: during my little research session I discovered that the pink panther has been revived in the 21st century so this one is not the last one anymore!
  7. The Internet is a wonderful thing! Anyone wishing to see it in the film can go to the link below and skip to 1:30hrs (ish) for the models "time to shine....." http://gorillavid.in/qtmayr475xo6
