  2. Any long term problems with tea being liberally spilled(flooded) across fiddle yard tracks? Asking for a friend.

      Was there any sugar in the tea?  Will make the task much trickier if there was.

      Cheers for the comments chaps, not too concerned as was plain track fiddle for a shunting plank. Good point re the sugar tho, glad I gave it up now! Could of have been worse, a rather fine tank car and a controller were either side of ground zero. A scenario many of us has experienced I suspect:D

      I'm a DC guy who likes the idea of DCC but every article I read seems to suggest more droppers (s8ds 'little darlings') are an imperative or new gadgetry is necessary. Maybe I don't fully understand what is required with DCC?

      Cos I counted em Terry ;-P

      Steve, to be honest the number of droppers is just a natural evolution of belt and braces, I actually changed to DCC halfway thru tracklaying and have saved on isolating sections and switches etc. Good DCC wiring is good practice for DC, Trust me if a clanky articifer can understand anyone can :)

  14. Eureka! Just finished laying all the scenic trackwork,..............has 6ft really taken me this long? 12":ft would probably have gone down quicker.:(

  15. Eureka! Just found my ABM railcraft North Cornwall Station Kit. Had convinceded myself it was long lost.

  17. Finished moving is as far from the dictionary definition of "finished" as you can get. Apparently there's a layout room behind all the packing boxes ;-}

  19. found me mojo, it was hidden under a couple reels of layout wire.

  20. Fremington Pill's boards all wired and set up for the first time. Major track cleaning session to be followed with a little play I mean test. Wish me luck!

  21. glad to have been OD last week, stopped the ##@?!! who cloned my card getting any money, not so happy that my hattons order got declined for security reasons, could have been worse!
