Will you automatically receive the coach bundle discount for the full 'Lowlander' or 'Highlander' sets if you have already paid your deposit for in my case packs 1 and 2 ?
Simply stunning, favourite name in favorite livery, excellent repaint. What do you use for the lining?I have posted the one I own for reference only, looks quite dated when you see it against the Hornby one.
60021 'WILD SWAN' converted from 'KINGFISHER' 'RARE BIRD' B J FREEMAN COLLECTION.Renamed and renumbered by TMC.
Congratulations Hornby for answering my prayers for a Green A4, only small gripe is they won't be available separately so as to convert one to a black front end, my favourite 'SEA EAGLE'.
Yes it is a repainted, unfortunately I have no idea as to who carried out the work as it was bought second hand but who ever it was I take my hat of to them.
Another one for Hornby, post war blue please.I know no.34 Lord Farringdon was done in a train pack quite some time ago being non Dcc ready and tender driven.Surely there would be a demand for this livery?
Also Bachmann, where are the new Thompsons?
Beautiful loco, nice to see here in this livery.
Yes it is quite sad about Modelfair, Martin was always trying to cater for something different with various limited editions.
Up next 60029 'WOODCOCK' in the experimental purple/dark blue livery she carried from 1948-50.
This one was a limited edition commissioned by Modelfair one of 50 produced.
Cant wait to get my hands on some new Thompson coaches to put behind her.
Thank you for the info, I understand that there is a few inaccuracies regarding the above photos but the reason for posting was not to satisfy the pursuit of perfection but answer the original question, How many Hornby A4's do you have?
Thanks
The weathering was commissioned to a well known firm who specialise in reworking locos etc.
It is however something I have been trying to achieve for about a year now on waggons and coaches, haven't had the nerve to let myself loose with the airbrush on my prized possessions yet.
I will say that a good weathering brings the models to life.
