Trust you are feeling better! We must not forget Bagnalls Model Shop in Stafford originally in South Walls Stafford and in later years opposite the Gatehousr Theatre in Stafford. Now long gone, but at least we have a new dedicated Model Railway Shop on Topp Trains Marston Rd Stafford. To add the Bagnalls model shop was nothing to do with Bagnalls Locomotive works which of course was also situated in Stafford as I understand in name only Eltel

What a memory trip, I have had the pleasure of seeing many of the layouts mentioned, I have also had the pleasure in my time as exhibition manager of inviting many to appear at Stafford. What really inspires me and many other modellers is that the number of high quality layouts goes on and the bar is getting higher and higher, but what really is more important is that the whole standard of layouts at exhibitions is far higher than say ten years ago. I am sure the photos of the Fire Escape will remind many of the BCB team of the old SRC clubroom where in fact we fitted a 12inch to the foot version of simular staircase some years back.
