Used on semi-fasts, but only five built.
How about the LBSCR D1 tank. The terriers larger 0-4-2 cousin. A fair number built and they all originally had names. Go well with the six wheeled coaches from Hornby and Hattons.

If any one is interested in modelling PLA railways, then in the last issue of Model Trains February/March 1982 edited by Chris before handing over to Fred Game, there is my article "The Millwall Circle". I do have the article still and if of interest please let me know. Colin..
Hi Colin.
Pleased to see that you are still keeping active.
I would be interested in that article to perhaps research a small PLA layout.

Got my subscription copy the week before last which was correct. The publication date was 31st August.
Next issue due 28th September.
The publication is every four weeks and there were five Thursdays in August, so two issues that month.

Hi Roythebus.
I think that Comet are still trading.
Branchlines are still trading, but have not had a website since the current owner took over. Look for their advert in the magazines and give them a call. They do all the valve gear rivets etc.
If Kemilway/Peter K did do a chassis, I believe that they are in the throws of winding up the business. I think that the owner has retired and the website may have been taken down now.
I hope that this helps.

I still have a few of the new ones recorded waiting to be watched, as they went out on a Tuesday night which is our club night.

Looking good.
Have you been test running ?
I only ask that as I note that you have a number of three way points in the fiddle yard and some locos get a bit tetchy on the curved roads out of them.

Who does the 3D printed Daleks ?
Could do with a K9 and some Cybermen as well.
Thanks

Another month goes by and still no sign or mention of these buses.
Still shown as Summer 2023 release on their website. When does their Summer run out ?

I remember seeing an article about the visit of this locomotive from the South London Press (I think), in the Southwark Local Archives.

A picture of 752 on page 152 of the Smithers book shows the loco in what I take to be the later grey SECR livery with large numbers.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what Andy and his team do with L class. There are so many possibilities and a number of attractive prototypes that could be portrayed. With regard to the Old Class I and K, I have the RT kits in the drawer waiting their turn so probably ought to make a start on one of them soon, just as soon I finish the ex Lambourn Valley four- wheel coach that I currently have on the go.
Well done Rapido for taking the plunge.
It also lost its chimney cap.

Many thanks for the information.
At least the Chatham club seem to be on the up and bringing back their show at the Dockyard next year.

Does anyone know if the former Epsom and Ewell and/or Woking (REC) exhibitions will return next year ?
Many thanks

The window into roof shape looks reasonable now and I think that the cab windows are about right as well.
The lighting is not good, but I do not think that the shade of green is too far off.
Some more pictures would be helpful.
Hope that they can get this out for the end of the year. It will make a very nice Christmas present.
Keep up the good work KR.

Thanks for the pictures. They confirm that the colour of the new one is different to the original WD one and more khaki than green. Whether I can afford another one is another matter.

Perhaps at this juncture in changes of management at Hornby, assuming that someone new is in post and that they look at these posts on RMWeb, they will now stick their hand up and say: 'We have seen and noted these comments and will take action to correct the problem.'
Not over hopeful, but you never know.

Both Oxford and Hornby versions were made in LSWR Adams livery - do you mean the later Drummond livery?
Or Urie livery ?

Might be worth seeing what is available in the Hornby shop at Westwood adjoining the visitor centre. Sometimes they have boxes of one item for clearance in there.
I can recall seeing a load of the Oxford Janus diesels in there a couple of years ago, unboxed, just in the 'ice cube' packaging.
