  1. any news of progress on 28 and the other crumbly bodies,,,,
  2. its a shame it wasnt found 30 years ago eh,,, looking at the duckets it looks like the coach will be different from the simulated one and more like the original and all that rotten wood is a great source of information even if most of it is too far gone makes you think what else is hiding out there,,,,,,,

  4. brake 3rd,,,, so thanks for that,, derelict is a word that sort of describes it,, was the restored duckett from this vehicle, if anything its an important source of information,, and something to start with,, good to see it saved

  10. what great news,, just need some hard cash to finish the job,,, its important to restore these as there are very few rakes of restored pre grouping coaches in the country today especially all the same company... just great,,,,
  11. article in septembers steam railway says that they have found a brake 3rd and that the remains of this and the two firsts will be recovered in the comming weeks amazing what turns up eh
  12. lovely stuff,,,,, nice photos too,,, be great to see just what they can recover and whats saveable and if any other bodies do come to light,,,,

  14. yes but who knows what else has been found,,,,,, lurking about,,,, wouldnt it be great to see a train of four or five coaches restored,,,,
  15. they really do look great,,, see if you can find out what other bodies are lurking in the undergrowth,,,, and what there thoughts are on the rudyard timbers,,,,
  16. be great and interesting to see what turns up,,,, could prove to be expensive though eh! been great to watch these two be restored,,, as i am too from stafford and have family ties and freinds all over the potteries

  18. that's great news and make sense,,,, is there any news on the recovery and thoughts on the Rudyard bodies and the other possible body that came to light

It's great to see these coaches restored,,, and i wonder if the relics found at the lakeside will be restore able,,, certainly many restored coaches have roofs and floors replaced and have to have frames found for them And most have little or no interior,, but the framework looks to be mostly there for one of them,,, and Maby the doors are on the ground,,, I wonder if they do start to restore the better of the two,,,,, would the poorer coach become the basis for the brake vehicle recreation the group wants,,,,, as unless the other possible recently discovered coach is one then there is none available
