  1. Got my copy to, a very enjoyable read Graham. Thank you.
  2. They offered me £250 for my old collection of (in fairness) mainly Lima diesels, included in that were a heck of a lot of wagons, cariages etc from both Hornby and Bachmann. Tony very kindly assisted me at a swap meet where I made over 6 times that. A cheque went to cancer research for Tony's help. I've bought the odd item from said shark(?) in the past, but never again. I wonder how many others would feel the same if they knew who they were?
  3. Is it really that long? Time flies. Yes it was a good day, we certainly kept sir on his toes.
  4. I must say I have to agree with you Gilbert.
  5. Don't worry Jesse he calls me a lot worse on a regular basis.
  6. I bought a small tin of nitromors from Amazon. Worked a treat, the paint just fell off in minutes, the glue took a bit longer.
  7. Clearly my fault entirely then Gilbert. Did Thane of Fife not make that strange sound either? I'll leave me gremlins at ome next time.
  8. Never mind Gilbert, as I said to you yesterday, being a student of sir I seem to put the mark of Cain on things like he does. A most enjoyable day though. Thank you, it was good to see you again.
  9. Don't forget the funeral and the road crash scene.
  10. Thanks Tony, A most enjoyable day. Good to see you and Mo again, and George of course. Geoff.
  11. Looks good to me. Wont get involved in Bellgate!!
  12. I don't normally join in with the polls, but have to vote for the V2.
  13. Didcot, Newbury and Southampton for me. Geoff
  14. Fantastic work James, I remember these wagons well from my spotting days at Didcot.
  15. Simon did a great step by step guide, I'm sure he won't mind us pinching it. Good tip about covering the track Jesse, I probably would have made the same mistake in my haste to get the stuff down. I will definitely get myself a cheap blender and not use mums, that wont end well for me.
  16. Looking good, Jesse. You've beaten me to it, i'm going to try the same on Hadley Green once i've finished extending the boards. I also got the idea from Simon. It does look very effective on Heaton Lodge Junction. Regards, Geoff.
  17. Tony, Are there any pictures of Huntingdon North? I didn't know there was already a model of it. Better not name any names though. Regards, Geoff.
  18. Tony, Do you have any pictures of Hadley Green in your library? I know it appeared in BRM years ago. I seem to remember you going to photograph it on your birthday? Regards, Geoff.
  19. Maybe a bit early for your period, but 47 361 Wilton Endeavour was a regular through Didcot in 96 / 97 A Tinsley engine at the time It was in a very sorry looking state in its very faded RFD livery. It would make a fun model to try and replicate. Geoff.
