  1. Some interesting footage of steel coil being loaded at Grimsby Docks and Brick Pit Sidings in this video.
  2. Does anybody know if anybody makes an acrylic version of this colour, or a decent match, please?
  3. Cheers Pitbull. Keep up the good work. Looks great so far
  4. Hi, Really like what you have done here. Very atmospheric, well done. Do you know the maker of the kit for the gantry crane, please? I could do with one for a project I have in mind for the new year.
  5. Thank Brian. Apart from these (trip?) workings, would you happen to know anything of where the steel went from Tinsley? Many thanks again
  6. Hi, Does anybody have any detailed knowledge of traffic flows to and from the South Yorkshire steel plants, please?. I am aware of the stainless traffic to and from Grimsby and Port Talbot, but I’m completely in the dark regarding Stocksbrisge, Templeborough, Thrybergh, and Roundwood. What were the products and where were they sent? What sort of scrap did each plant receive? What wagon types were used? Many thanks for any information Marcus
  7. Hi, Thanks for the replies. I used the contact form on the website to, erm, contact the membership secretary, so it should have been read by someone I would have thought?
  8. Hi, I sent a payment via PayPal a week ago and not heard anything back as of yet. I’ve messaged the Membership Secretary and no response. Does anybody know how long I’ll be waiting? Thanks Tinsley Snail
  9. Hi Will, Give precision decals a try regarding loco numbers. He can do you a set of cabside and front numbers with a really fast turn around, and cheap too! (Just a satisfied customer etc....) Marcus
  10. Hi Mike, I am interested in a couple of pairs of bogies please Thanks Marcus

  12. Hi Wayne, No, I am not a member. I have only returned to modelling a couple of years ago, so not really thought about it to be honest. I'll have a look, sounds interesting. Cheers Marcus
  13. Thanks for the SDA numbers Baz. I plan to kit bash the Cambrian SPA into an SDA (at some point in the future....so many wagons to do!!!)
  14. Hi Wayne, Nice grid and wagons. How difficult was it to remove the numbers and markings from the Hornby 56, and what method did you use? I have a 56 I want to re-number and de-name, and have heard it's a PITA to remove Hornby printing. Many thanks Marcus
  15. Thanks Mark. That would make this conversion a little after my time frame modelling wise. Marcus
