That looks great as it is! Fantastically dusty,
Steve.

Not sure about them but I must have something else that wont need weathering that much, Will your next project be at the other end of the scale?

Another masterclass Mick, I like the underframe, very subtle.

Looks great Mick. I'd like to have a go of that, I've got a couple of Hornby PCA's just need to find some photos of some later cement wagons to see how they weather.

Thanks Mick. Enjoy your course.

Looks great Mick. How would you replicate the darkening you mentioned?

I've seen Tensocrom on some military modelling videos, how was it to use, do you think it could be used to fade colours etc?
Steve.

The interior doesn't look bad at all Mick, I've found photo's of interiors hard to come by, maybe it would be a shade darker as per the coal it carried, how would you rectify it, maybe some smoke pigment?
Steve.
-
Thanks Mick, I must be learning something ;-)
Do you always use Testors or is there an airbrush varnish that you'd recommend?
Steve.
-
Has the wagon had a coat of matt varnish at all? Just wondered what the pigments are sticking to.
Steve.
-
Very interesting project, great photo's I'll follow his with interest.

Quick question about the oils Mick, how long did you leave them between each layer and do they dry totally flat?
cheers Mick.
Steve.

Ok, that does look good. Look forward to seeing what you do with the AMMO oils, is there much of a difference?
Steve.
-
Ok, thanks Mick. Was it then finished with powders?
Steve

Great stuff Mick, did you wipe the paint off in between applications in the same way you might with enamels?
