Nice to see Westbridge finally on here Alex. Really admire your layout and is a fine example of a BR Blue layout at its best- really well modelled with excellent ballast, locomotives and I like the scratch built shed. Can't wait for the next update.

Got to be 37215 on the GWSR!!!! The Growler Group are great in 'thrashing'' her, especially during galas.

After recently having repairs via Hornby, I got my 42xx out to test and for some reason won't respond on DCC or DC. However, there is a lot of heat coming off the decoder when put onto the DCC powered track. It seems to be making a very very faint buzzing noise. Any ideas what could have gone wrong???

Can't wait for when these come out. I bought one in 2008 second hand (I think) and it was a poor runner so hopefully there will be an improvement in running qualities as well as detail.

Cheltenham Model Centre now have about 20 of the '5075 Wellington' in stock for a reasonable price of about £114.

I picked up the GWR 4283 and I wasnt satisfied at all by the running qualities. Its pickups were all over the place and I thought its motor was very weak. Whether I was unlucky I don't know but I recently took it to my local model centre who had to send it off to Hornby themselves who appear to have given it a brand new chassis. My 42xx is now a superb runner- one of my best. The only issue I have with mine is the livery. The roundel is very very faint and in poor light is barely visible which I am tempted to take off and add some proper transfers.
