Bachmann quality has seriously dropped. 3 of the past 5 models I purchased are none runners or faulty. A joke really when the rrp has increased.

It's enough to put me off Captain. It's a shame because they produce nice models.

Maybe those three had previously been returned as "non runners" and then surreptitiously recycled?
Possibly, you'd hope retails did more than just put items back on the shelves for resale.
