Hornbys class 20 with TTS was imminent when Hornby mag reviewed it back in feb. Still not here so they must be on the ship  a while

Is there an ETA for the class 20 and 37 with TTS sound? The class 20 was reviewd in Hornby mag months ago.

I think ivre seen these for 85 on hattons. Ill probably get one and put a green lima body on it

I got the Class 101 NSE with onboard sound and passengers today and confirm it uses a loksound select

Hornby Mag has put up a video of the new class 20 with TTS sound.

Very promising and sound is on par, if not better than the Bachmann class 20

The mechanisom loos better than the other TTS diesels I have, especially with a diecast chassis

Has anyone used the sound fitting service for £25?

Im calling in at the weekend to get a class 24 sound chip and may as well take advantage of the service.

Has anyone had a Class 08 sound fitted by them? Seems pretty tricky

digitrains sell the 1.65 firmware chip for about £30

They're so hard to come by I went out for a couple of pots of paint this afternoon and ended up adopting another unclaimed Peckett. It may just be a temporary foster situation though if Old Gringo decides he really wants it (as I told him the other night they hadn't got any more so a small pang of guilt overtook me).

I was in top trains this afternoon and theres a HP peckett in stock there

Pleased to see a TTS 08 decoder. If these sound ok i think a fair few of them will find there way into Bachmann / Dapol 08s

Also on my shopping list will be the Class 31 and 37 both with TTS Sound.

That £600 train set is insane, shame they used mallard in 2 sets they couldve picked a different A4 for one of the sets

Dapol had the 08s on free sale today ( and tomorrow ) at the alsager railway exhibition in crewe. They had both blue versions ( black cab roofs ), the black version on sale for £199.00

They also had the collectors club version, which I heard them tell someone that if they join the club for £25 they get the collectors club 08 for £145, so £170 total.

Wonder if the 08 will become a classic Dapol collectible, just like this little fellal?

The sound fitted one, is it BR or GWR livery?

Yes it will. I dont have any first radius on my layout but the shop i got it from test ran it on a first radius oval. It didnt like set track points on the test layout but its fine on streamline points

Placed my order for the Bachmann sound 47 001 and it arrived less than 24 hoirs later. Brilliant service and great price. Even with postage it was a good £20 cheaper than elsewhere

Im also waiting for these. Id image it will be the same length as the set track straight, which is 400mm or 15.5"

Id imagine the curved part of the point will be the same as the curve thats already out

Has anyone heard anything regarding the set track points peco announced last year. Tower models state release in 2015 but here we are in 2016 with still no sign.

Will these have working marker lights?
