  1. Dutch I'm assuming it there was a wiring issue eg short the z21s internal circuit breaker would trip??
  2. Hi Dutch! I don't have caps attached to the track! I'm using LDT block occupancy modules along with LDT and DIgikeijs turnout decoders
  3. Hi Dutch! I don't have caps attached to the track! I'm using LDT block occupancy modules along with LDT and DIgikeijs turnout decoders It does do it if no track buss is connect to the output
  4. Hmmm mine is a 16 volt 2.8amp power supply
  5. Hi all, Got my Z21 up and running today I have a few questions. Does the Z21 have a buzzing sound under load? My does it it's not shorting so I assume it is okay?? How much voltage drop is everyone getting with the supplied transformer? Cheers
  6. Hi has anyone used liffinski (LDT) turnout modules with the Z21???
  7. I have received an email from Peter Littfinski of LDT fame he says his decoders less than 5 years old in design, will detect automatically a phase change and deal with it appropriately. I never had this issue with my old zimo MX1, so I know it's the Dr5000
  8. My saga with the DR5000 continues.,Not sure whether it is a phasing issues or something else! The other day I turned on the system and tested some turnouts (LDT decoders) with TC..nothing. I turned on the check boxes within track outputs inthe the dr5000 interface. I changed the phase and still nothing. Reprogram the ldt modules and they work all bar two which I physically had to change the connections around on the J and K input. The system now works. All control and programming viaS1 in the ldt modules, button and within TC. I have one DR 4018 turnout module which was not effected, it worked fine! I never had these issues with my old old zimo mx1. I'm considering going to a Roco Z21..I'm just hoping I'm not going to have issues the the DIgikeijs s88n occupancy modules.?.. Any thoughts crew??
  9. Ps all my ldt occupancy modules on the ldt s88 interface had no issues showing occupancy on TC.?
  10. Hi john, I had to push the button to re program them. I only used my multimaus to test the decoder before not TC. After I did this they worked again! I did this this with my only DIgikeijs turnout decoder too
  11. Hello all, I have updated to the latest firmware (as suggested by Roy DIgikeijs) on the DR5000 as advised with my phasing issue. I have done this. I was also told to turn off all the tick boxes in the track output section of the dr5000 of interface, which I did! These refer to auto phase changes when a short occurres. I'm still testing this! After updating to the new firmware I had to reprogram all of my ldt turnout decoders! A lot of frustration regarding the above! The next step is to start using s88 block occupancy modules by DIgikeijs on the dr5000 output! I'm hoping i don't have the same issues that you gentlemen have had with rs8 hardware
  12. Hello all (in particular Frederick), I have been asked to post these attached diagrams by Jeremy BRANDON, They refer to schematics of the LDT feedback modules. enjoy
  13. Thanks John, it is interesting considering the dr5000 doesn't denote a polarity on its output terminals. I will persevre and see how the new FireWire goes
