  4. Hi Neil Yes it is great that the 31 has been secured and they were working away on it to get it ready for the running season when I was in. As regard getting runs with it, im afraid I dont know how that would work or who is best to contact. It is probably something that would have to be organised through the main office. The 31 is out reasonably frequently so it may be able that he could coincide with a normal running day and get a trip. Tim

  12. Havent heard of that...will have a look. Will try to get the varnish off only but fully expecting to have to knock it back to basic plastic and then paint it.
  13. Hi all I have bought a cheap DCC Midlands Compound that was cheap due to the fact that it had very thick varnish applied to it...not sure why but I would like to remove it. I have tried Humbol paint thinners to no effect. Does anyone else have suggestions to help me to remove it?? Thanks in advance. Tim

  15. Hi Neil I am very impressed with your layout. I am a volunteer up at the Strathspey Railway and would be very keen to recreate the 4 road shed. Would you be able to tell me where you got the shed produced? Do you have design drawings for the shed? Also is it now oo or n gauge? Thanks in advance.
