I would advise anyone who has a problem with Sam to do as I do and block the channel on Youtube.

Just speculating on today's announcement. Like others I am not expecting a loco but happy to be wrong.
I slept on it and I think it is a coach. However it could also be a Wagon.

Better look more closely at Neptune.
and watch out for the misaligned front handrail on the No. 2 end depending on when you are modelling. 😀

I could definitely suspect an industrial steam loco amoung the ones under development.

Manor is quite a bit smaller, doubt there's much to be reused. Much easier afaik to design a new model from the ground up.
Maybe it is just further away? 😀

6 steam locos?
57xx, , 67xx, 77xx, 87xx, 8750 and 97xx ??
Then do 37xx, 36xx, 46xx and 96xx in the future?
😀
There is no need to go to all that trouble. As Accurascale already have tooling for the Manor they can reuse it for the King, Hall, Castle. Saint, Grange and modified Halls.

They look very good. It is great to see the range expanding. I have picked up a few differnt models at various shows.

My issue is with key publishing and not Accurascale and I actually have alot of Accurascale models. Apologies if my post wad misleading with regards to Accurascale.
It must be very disappointing and it a very unusual case. I have a class 31 ordered from Key so I was concerned to hear of so many people in a similar situation. I know it is only a model but at the same time we buy models because we enjoy them and obviously look forward to new ones coming out. To find out so late in the process that a model is gone is vey unfortunate to say the least.

Join the club, you're not the only one. . Without using industrial terminology, I must say being a subscriber & ordering the model on announcement & then paying the balance the day I received the e-mail, I find today's email a slap in the face. It will make me think twice about purchasing a model through key publishing and accurascale, they knew how many models were ordered. During that time they could've told us that they had sold the 500 they were producing instead of carrying on taking people's money and I would've expected accurascale out of good will to make another BR Manor available to all those who have missed out. FYO moderator we've had issues with key publishing responding to emails.
So how exactly would this affect you ordering from Accurascale? That makes no sense. Key could have ordered a model from anyone and over sold it. I do not see any logic in that statement.

Would be very surprised to see an 08. Market is well covered and the Hornby model will be heard to beat in terms of shape and detail, yet the older Bachmann model continues to sell.
Agree, both models are pretty good as is the Hornby 09.

08 seems a strange one, AS mentioned in a news letter a possible new announcement at the making tracks 3 weekend they are hosting, an 08 maybe? putting 2 and 2 together and getting -4 :)
An 08 sound file has been on the ESU website for years. Do not know if they have updated as it certainly was there before the loksound v5 and probably the v4 also.

So I ordered pack A and B today specifically because I thought they would sell out first, and gives me time to consider the rest :-)
If I bought D and E and the others sold out, then i’ve missed the boat.
Yes, the is the logic I used when not buying everything in one go. Buy the most popular first. Recently, with the various payment staging options now available I tend to order everything in one go.

Looks great but I really want the pair. Maybe in future.

Rotating axel boxes that stay on have been done successfully many times before on both wagons and locos, including by Irish Railway Models/Accurascale. I do not see this being an issue.

Saw a 3D print of this at the weekend. Impressive looking coach and I could really see the width alongside the Mk 2B.

The 50006 and 50033 handrail variations were both due to collision damage. 50050 was built with that way.

50020 from Rails matches the livery in the photo
50021 has an orange cantrail stripe, so similar but different. This puts in later in the 80s.
50014 has an orange cantrail stripe and a black roof so is quite different.
I am waiting for a revised light blue NSE without the upsweeps. I am sure there will be one in due course.

DHL Charge an admin fee of €3.50, which we cover with free post to the EU. Hope that helps±
Excellent. That is good news.

I have no problem paying Irish VAT but unfortunately the charges the courier companies make for the privilege of processing your VAT payment, more than outweighs the value of the free postage. An Post is better in that regard but became so unreliable, with correctly labeled items being returned, that I stopped using them. Hattons are registered for Irish VAT and can send you stuff from the UK, with VAT paid, and it just arrives at the door. They service other EU countries in the same way.

Well the first engineering sample has appeared. To be totally honest I am not so sure that the blue is the right shade but otherwise, looking good.

I think I will let the GT3 bundle offer pass me "buy"
If they want to get rid of them, sell them singly at a reduced price. Some people might be tempted to buy one and repaint it to the correct livery.
Not many people will want a model in a fictitious livery and even fewer I suspect will want 2 models of a single prototype in two different fictitious liveries.

First and foremost, they have to get the shape right. I am not holding my breath on that. Would be delighted to be proved wrong.
Secondly, the detail of the variations. Again my hopes are not high. Research and attention to detail are required. They do not necessarily need to do all the variations, just some of the main ones.
Overall, the GT3 is a good model but I would not say it is to a higher standard than the current Bachmann 40. The Fell is a poor model, to a similar standard as the Jouef 40. Therefore expecting something better than the current Bachmann 40 is a long shot in my opinion.
