It is interesting that photo. I find it "bottom heavy" and therefore a little disconcerting. It is not a natural look. I looked at it 90° counter-clockwise and felt far more comfortable looking at it. Mind you I am south of the equator.

Apparently something odd is happening to Earth’s magnetic field. According to the internet (and I would never doubt it) over the last 200 years, it’s been slowly weakening and shifting its magnetic north pole. I suspect it is you that will soon be upside my friend! Mind you by the time it happens you will have built another 30 layouts so somewhat academic in the scheme of things.

All sounding and looking very promising. The little village scene with the different levels is a great idea. I think the reason the POD looked so gloomy was that it didn't have any curtains in it! Oops shouldn't have mentioned that.

Without the photos, it's just your word against ours. Alright I admit that I did not notice, which does not mean that I do not care.

It is times like this when I am relieved to find I have not posted that many photos to RMWeb as I have managed to replace all but one or two of the deleted photos from this topic. My heart goes out to those of you who posted photos virtually on a daily basis.

As for the problems I blame Mr P - not Andy Peters - but that other Mr P in Moscow (or wherever that coward is hiding)!

I have been to Goslar. Way back in 1997. There was a restaurant called the Didgeridoo and it purported to be an Australian restaurant. I walked through the front door and said "Gidday, table for two" and this poor German girl looked at me as if I was from another planet! I was a bit annoyed because they had meals named after all the major cities in Australia except Brisbane (even Newcastle was listed). Food definitely did not taste like anything I recognised. Turns out the owner had backpacked around Australia and that was basically the only connection apart from Fosters beer being served.

You may or may not know that the "modest space" is located within one of NASA's disused hangers for the Saturn V rocket. Hence Mr P's impressive list of former and current layouts. Mr P has plenty of room for another O gauge layout. Anyone who thinks he is living in Hampshire with a tiny shed is smoking from the same pipe as that other Mr P who is up to no good in Ukraine.
