    my sewer pipe blocked again that the 3rd time since December Again it were the pipe enters the manhole 3 doors away it 6 foot down so it need Welsh water to do it

    Where would we be without the classic wire coat hanger? Locked out of our cars or houses, unable to retrieve/extract that awkward thingy or, in my case a few minutes ago, unblock the fatberg that was preventing my kitchen sink from draining.

    Friday before Christmas and TOCs are playing their annual game of how many people can we fit in a unit. TPE are winning, closely followed by Virgin. And I’ve got the best seats, and by a seat, I mean a vestibule end.

      Of course, they were only your mutual friends with her approval and without you realising it. Don`t worry it’s the way of the world, females are excellent at making friends with those (normally) other females who they can rely on to take their side in a crisis, a shoulder to cry on. By the time we males realise it, it’s normally too late to change the situation, as they are firmly entrenched on her side. Did you find that after you were married, that your friends were subtlety replaced by her...

    Well, Fiona is incandescent with rage...... Not at me you understand but at the blxxdy Automobile Association. We cancelled the auto renewal with the AA because the renewal premium was over the top and guess what? They took the money anyway. We phoned the bank and apparently the AA can do that because we gave them permission to do that. We've also had a similar thing last year with ASDA who would not close an account that was used once for a home delivery which all went wrong and we didn...

      I always write to my Bank stating that I want this renewal payment cancelled, and then I let the retailer know. Since Nov 2009 it’s been illegal for Banks to refuse to cancel a CPA, and you don`t need the permission of the retailer to be able to do so. If they don`t, report them to the FCA and the Bank is legally obliged to refund you your payments.
