    Been saving 20p and 50p's all year my bank will only accept 10 bags per visit, going to have to make several trips, don't know if this is the norm with all banks these days.

      I found two old £50 notes the other day, my bank was quite willing to swap them for new money. As for supermarket machines, they're ideal for 1/2p coins. A 10% cut seems reasonable for not having to count them yourself. I just weigh them beforehand to have a rough idea of how much there is. Btw - our local NatWest has a coin machine, but I don't know if they take a cut...
