  1. Just incase no one knows... Somethings to look forward to at Warley:- - Heljan as per a post on facebook they'll have something announced/surprise at Warley. - Accurascale has something to announce - There'll be something interesting on the T-Gauge.com stand (if it makes it in time) - Rapido apparently have something - KMRC are also getting something. - Hatton's have already announced theirs - Rails of Sheffield have already announced theirs as well.

  2. It's quite frankly disturbing to see some people on YouTube making up tall tales about models and manufacturing processes they know nothing of. And it's worse too see hundreds of subscribers fall for such nonsense.

Some people prefer candles to smell of paraffin wax.

I guess some of us might also be slightly old-fashioned.

Presumably there are four of them in a set #fourcandles

      But I wanted fork handles!

  5. Congratulations Hornby!

  6. DHL is the worst courier company I've ever had to deal with in my life! Never using DHL, made a mistake trying them just now. A huge pat on the back for Hattons, Hattons did more work than DHL.

Might I add, DHL within the UK is alright. I was ordering something to be shipped to a near and dear one in India. And that's probably spoilt Christmas. 13 days to clear customs and travel 180kms. 2 days from Liverpool to Bombay. 13 days just to clear customs plus a lot of trouble from DHL

      Meanwhile, over at Yodel....

  7. So the habit of "brand bashing" has reached 10 year old kids! It's a pity...Our hobby is gone toward the direction of brand bashing by kids who can barely speak a word of English!

Do what I did, my password is "forgotten your password". I get a hint every time I log in now.

Well no, I actually know my password... The only issue is that the "FORGOTTEN YOUR PASSWORD" tab is so close to the actual tab to type your password in that I keep clicking on that by mistake instead of typing.

  10. Pretty confused here! Do I move to N gauge and start a small fictional modern era layout? Do I stick with OO and buy a Dapol Class 59 and A4 to add to my existing stuff? Or do I move to O gauge and buy Dapol's amazing forthcoming Class 08?????

O Gauge is not actually more expensive as you need less stuff to fill a given area.

  11. Hey guys....If anyone's attending Warley today, can you'll ask Hornby if the R3390TTS VTEC HST train pack comes with two HST power cars or just one? http://www.Hornby.com/uk-en/class-43-hst-virgin-rail-east-coast-with-tts-sound.html

      sub39h

It'll be two - they've never sold individual power cars.
