  1. Hi Eric, I have now downloaded the sketch from luce001 and it works fine, but I'm having problems with the u8glib file. There doesn't seem to be one available as it is no longer supported. Is there a sketch with the newer u8g2 file in that you know of please? Simon
  2. Hi Eric, I used everything that was suggested on the 1st page of this link, plus a DCC interface from Ian Jeffery. I am using the hall effect sensor and the Adafruit driver. I went through all 27 pages of the thread yesterday, but failed to find the sketch that I needed, so I was hoping someone might have it. I did come across the 7 road sketch, but I don't think this cut the power to the motor. My turntable will be infrequently used, so I don't want the continuous whine. Cheers, Simon
  3. Hi. I've just returned to this thread because my turntable and Arduino have stopped working. They haven't been used for a long time, and seem to have lost the programming, so I stripped out the turntable and brought it back into the house so I can go back to square one. The other problem was that my PC crashed last year, and I've lost all the information. What I'm after is the sketch for a 4 road turntable with the power being turned off from the motor please? Simon
  4. Just to say a big thank you to the great help from Ian Jeffery and along with the posts and sketches from Ian and Tender, I now have a fully functioning Peco turntable using all the hardware as described on the first page of this extremely long thread, which I only discovered recently. My T/T stops at 4 different roads, and the motor powers down each time, leading to a nice quiet life! Thanks guys.
  5. Hi Ray, I've just connected everything up, uploaded the sketch and it all seems to work very well, although I might have a little bit of unwanted friction that I need to address. As I'm still getting to grips with understanding the sketches, could you possibly post a copy of the 4 road sketch please? Cheers, Simon
  6. The DCC interface works a treat. Highly recommended.
  7. I have just bought Ian's DCC interface, and it works really well. No messing about with components and soldering etc.. Great little item. Check out his webpage DCCinterface.
  8. Hi. I now have all the hardware except the Hall sensor which is due next week. Only other question I have is which 9v power supply would you recommend? Cheers, Simon
  9. Hi, did you ever design a circuit board from the post #8? Cheers, Simon
  10. Board looks great. It goes directly from the DCC bus to the Arduino then? Cheers, Simon
  11. Hi Ray, Don't know what happened then! Thanks for letting me know about the hardware. Started buying off eBay and RS for the bits. Downloaded Arduino software. Looking forward to getting to grips with the programming! Cheers, Simon
  12. I've just discovered this thread, and I was wondering whether there was a hardware update from the original post. I've only just started to build my railway, and have a Peco LK-55 turntable, and this all sounds ideal for my purposes. I will be having 4 roads under DCC control. Cheers, Simon
