Has anyone highlighted these things to Dapol?

I’m unconvinced it will be any different nor will it attract current or modern era modellers . Time will tell, I read the advert in Hornby Magazine today, certainly has a lot to shout about but will it have any conviction only time will tell.

Just send an email via the website. We get a fair few emails like this, but you may not hear immediately as we both have jobs elsewhere and replying to emails is one of those things that gets done in one go, when there is the opportunity. Obviously any genuinely urgent emails will get priority; but as the models haven't even left China yet we will definitely get this sorted out for you even if not for a week or two.

I got my Scotrail DCC sound version on Friday, tested and all is well. Just to say massive thanks to Charlie and everyone else as this model is simply amazing. The quality is outstanding and the sound is just as good. One very happy customer!

I think myself and A few fellow modellers waited at least two weeks for delivery. I've ordered from them before not the speediest but items always arrive!

Anyone had any problems with communication and delivery from DRS in relation to their Limited edition model ?.

 

Ive been waiting well over a week now since placing the order. Had no info relating to despatch or reply to E Mails. Spoke to someone this morning to be told they would get back in touch, as yet....................nothing.

Looks like I made an error! 210 E.Mails sent out over 3 hours last night, and two cock-ups. Two people chased who have paid. I have put myself into a disciplinary meeting with the boss in the morning. Hope I don't sack myself.

I buy everything through Leigh where possible, he has all my pre orders for 16/17 catalogues. Ive recently visited the shop and met him in person. He provides not only some of the best prices around he also gives such a unique personal touch to his service which is matched by nobody. He will go above and beyond for his customers. If you want something not listed in his site, give him a call, facebook and email as he will respond. I've never had any issues with using Leigh and will continue to buy from him.
