  1. Ricky the Rover (214Si 1993 to be precise) has just passed the 200,000 mile mark. So pleased I even took a piccy of the mileage at the appropriate time. Haven't forgotten that jonhall of this parish suggested gertie the gasaxe some time back...

      Respect. Ours made it to 149k. Rust claimed it. Engine was fine.

      I've had a gearbox rebuild, then a scrapyard gearbox about 60K later; also a head gasket (don't they all?) plus the usual alternators, bushes etc. Bought new for

      And my 1966 Landrover is still under 90000 miles, did rebuild the engine at 82000 though, but now can't afford the petrol.

      Bodywork still good, it is an original Rover build not British Leyland so built to last.
