  1. Has anyone here ever used Coding on a Windows Laptop to control Locos, points & accessories on their 00 gauge model railway layout? I’m starting to get into coding and wondered whether I could incorporate it into my layout. No no worries if not it was just a thought I had, Luke
  2. Thanks everyone for your input, I’ll try and put a signalling plan together for my layout.
  3. This is my layout at the moment, I know it’s not the best of layouts but with a bit of ballasting and laying some static grass it should look ok.
  4. I do 00 gauge and I'm planning to use berko/Eckon signals
  5. Don’t have any photos at the minute as I’m out but the layout is approximately 10ft x 10ft
  6. The outer Mainline track runs clockwise and the other two run anti clockwise
  7. I forgot to mention, the outer Mainline track runs clockwise but both inner tracks run anti clockwise.
  8. Hi all, I’m in need of some help regarding what signals I should have and where I should put them. Below is a track plan of my layout. Red = Mainline Green = sidings Purple = track to upper level Orange = track to lower level Any questions please feel free to ask Many thanks
  9. Right so here is my updated track plan. Red - Mainline (LOCOS RUN BOTH WAYS) Green - Sidings Purple - Track to helix Orange - Track to Lower Level I don’t have any Stations on this part of my layout Thanks
  10. This is my track plan, excuse the numbers/letters they were for something else. I don’t have an era/company as I collect steam and Diesel & electric locomotives
  11. Hi all, I’m in need of some help regarding signalling for my 00 gauge railway. I’m not very knowledgable when it comes to signalling, as you will gather, but please bare with me. I would like to know, What aspect signal should I have? Where should I have a feather signal? Where do I put shunt signals Any information would be a great help Many thanks, Luke
  12. Thanks Ian, I think my Elite firmware is on V1.41, that may be the problem then. Thanks again Luke
  13. Hi all, I bought a Hornby Elite controller six years ago now, it's worked perfectly fine, but now it seems that when the controller is on for over ten minutes, the dial to control the locomotives instead of them moving, the controller seems to come up with different digits (123£&45@) like this for instance. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Many thanks
