Well thats the BRM Doncaster Show booking paid for & a deposit sent for the York Show 

As you don't say exactly where in South Wales you intend setting up home, here are a few to be going on with................

 

(i)  North Gwent

(ii) Newport

(iii) Cardiff 4mm

(iv) Cardiff Model Engineering

(v) Barry & Penarth

(vi) Swansea

(vii) Bay Model Railway Group (Cardiff)

There is also a 'loose affiliation' of several RMwebbers in the 'Greater Cardiff' area, who occasionally 'meet up'  and also keep in touch both via RMweb and other means.

Many of us will be at the 'Small Model Railway Show 2017' ( a sort of informal gathering), to be held in Cardiff on 21st. January next year.

Not had time yet to even look into it

even then it will take a long to  input all the plates & detail items at the speed I type

so most like the end of 2017 or longer 

Todat we receved are Invite to the York show

As far as I am aware the bus company referred to was taken over by the company that we have used to supply the service in previous years.  They have decided that it was not possible to provide the service as there were not enough passengers on the Sunday and Monday of the Show.  We are still looking for possible answers but York seems to be devoid of any organisation than has buses that wants to take it on.  There also seems to be a lack of drivers willing to work over the Easter weekend. So yet another problem.

 

Any positive ideas would be welcome. We are still exploring but as yet have not come up with a satisfactory solution. If you know of anybody who is willing to take it on but with the risk that they will make a loss then please let us know.

Other shows use preserved bus to run a service is there any around  York ??

We have made a Start on the artwork for Smoke Box No's for the ones that made it in to BR

Had a Good show but its taken it out of Me but happy with the way things when for my 1st show

Is 247 able to confirm if and when these will be available, and the cost?

At this time I can not say when or at what price

& I will say I am looking in to adding these back to the range

I will not be getting the molds etc but stocking the casting which I will be ordering in starting of with the bogies then expanding as I sell what I orded

there will be a brass chassis for it but there is no release date for it yet

still working out price for the body but it looks like it will be around £22

I'm very pleased that the white metal detailing parts (including hopefully the coach bogies) will be coming back, but it's a great shame that the etched coach sides will remain unavailable.

Is that for sale as in the etched sides business is for sale or that the etched sides can still be bought direct from Errol?

I believe its the rights to the etch art work that's for sale

Will the name and number plates be reintroduced? I need quite a few.

the Plate & No have always been available & I will be keeping them

What actually happened to the etches in the end? Are they under someone else's control?

As far as I know there still with Errol & for sale

Will you be reintroducing the range of coach parts and etches?

We are also looking at attending show if we can get invites
