  1. Thanks for the plug Dave! Would it be cheeky of me to mention here that I also have SER, MR and S&DJR wagons in my range? Cheers, Eddie.
  2. Thanks Nick, It's relatively easy to do variations on a theme once the basic design is done, so it's worth me getting as much out of each design as I can. Someone might want an MR manure wagon one day! There will be more SER/SECR to come. Cheers, Eddie.
  3. The last variant (for now) of MR 5 plank now uploaded to shapeways, 6 ton fully fitted open, 16ft 6 inches long, 10ft WB, 3ft 7 inch spoked wheels, 8 shoe clasp brakes, Sheet rail. Back to some early LB&SCR next I think. Cheers, Eddie.
  4. I read that the model of "Como" in the Brighton museum is considered to be the closest surviving match to Stroudley Improved Engine Green, but apparently even the tender and engine are a slightly different shade! Cheers, Eddie.
  5. MR 5 plank coal, with through top plank, now uploaded to Shapeways. Cheers, Eddie.
  6. Very late version of MR 5 plank open, with additional side strapping and other differences, now also uploaded to Shapeways. Cheers, Eddie.
  7. MR 5 plank open, later type with additional strapping to the ends, now uploaded to Shapeways. Cheers, Eddie.
  8. "Standard" MR 5 plank open now uploaded. Cheers, Eddie.
  9. Thanks Jerry, Look forward to seeing what you do with those. Cheers, Eddie.
  10. Last one from me today, MR manure wagon now uploaded to Shapeways. Still unable to post a direct link, Shop link below. Cheers, Eddie.
  11. Why thank you. Not sure why I was not able to copy and paste as usual. Cheers, Eddie.
  12. S&DJR 5 plank open without rounded ends now uploaded to Shapeways. Again I can't seem to post a direct link. Cheers, Eddie.
  13. S&DJR 5 plank open with rounded ends now uploaded to Shapeways, unfortunately I can't seem to post a direct link at the moment. Shop link at bottom of post. I'll be doing a few variations on this theme over the coming days. Cheers, Eddie.
  14. Very nice indeed Gareth. Lovely job, thanks for sharing! Eddie.
  15. There is a drawing of No. 400 in the book "locomotives worth modelling" Cheers Eddie.
  16. Sorry Gareth, I'm away at the moment so I missed this until now, they look fantastic! I look forward to seeing how you get on with the vans. Cheers, Eddie.
  17. Also in that photo I noticed how close the points are to the buffer stops, just enough room for a terrier or maybe a D tank.
  18. http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/c/central_croydon/central_croydon_old1.jpg Central Croydon sometime before it closed in 1890. Was looking for wagons, found buffer stops.
  19. LB&SCR van with later roof profile now uploaded to shapeways. https://www.shapeways.com/product/S2HTSE5WF/2mmfs-lb-scr-van?li=user-profile&optionId=56741936 In general use on mainland until WW2 years, and on the Isle of Wight until well in to BR days. Cheers, Eddie.
  20. Butter variant of LB&SCR van from 1891 now uploaded to Shapeways. https://www.shapeways.com/product/UMJ9M2UE5/2mmfs-lb-scr-butter-van-1891?li=shop-results&optionId=56714843 Cheers, Eddie.
  21. Hello Nick. They look great, thanks for taking the time to share. Running numbers (from Southern Wagons Pictorial by Mike King) between 4051-4500, 4701-7000 and 9001-50, although it seems a few of those had lower rounded ends. I used a photo of 6627 for drawing the model. I saw that you had ordered one of the open Ds, great stuff, I look forward to seeing how you get on with that. The real thing had curved W irons, I wonder if anyone will have a crack at representing these! I will be doing an 1864 SER 8 ton coal wagon at some point, also used for general merchandise and lasted into SR days. Cheers, Eddie.
  22. Stroudley era Open type D now on Shapeways: https://www.shapeways.com/product/ZJHFFZ9UG/2mmfs-lb-scr-stroudley-open-d?li=shop-results&optionId=56701554
  23. Oh that's unfortunate! Which ones where you going to use? Looks like the vans had long springs. Cheers, Eddie.
