  1. I had some N Gauge Versions (they were incorrect 7 Planks) weathered and they look good. Tony
  2. Dave, I am with you - I think I expressed my thought earlier that there are too many options - one reason I haven't placed my interest as I have no idea what to go for. In N Gauge the 14-car set is going to be possible and impressive and perhaps a 7-car set also... Maybe as you suggest two 7-car sets (one yellow and one black ended) with less functions e.g. the tilt. Additional coaches (+one power unit?) to expand to a full 14-car set? I really would like this to happen as well but for me the choice is bewildering and for the likely limited market may mute orders. Regards Tony
  3. Dilema time - the quicker your send mine the quicker I have to update the website and work out all the combinations/running numbers/stock codes (May need some help from Mike/Ben when they have reduced pendolino mountain). Tony
  4. Still need to work out which sets give a good cross-section of sets/coaches and liveries without buying them all! I have even resorted to a an Excel Pivot table.... sad I know! Tony
  5. I won't tell if you don't.... try... http://www.grafar.co.uk/
  6. The price compares with the Farish 5-Car Blue Pullman (£300 - £900 for 3 off but at 2013/4 prices!) but even as a collector/runner there are a few too many options even for my wallet.... I would hope these are reviewed as interest is received as this would focus production into models that will reach production. I am not convinced by the tilt if this is adding to the cost or makes the set derail/run poorly on layouts. Tony
  7. The rules were recently changed and depending on the headlights used (and other warning methods like horns) yellow panels are now optional. The TPE 68 does look a little odd... Tony
  8. There are some side-on photos of the various Mk3 coaches on my websites. http://www.ngauge.org/dap_pass_mk3_hst.php http://www.ngauge.org/bac_pass_mk3_hst.php Note I have modified the Farish-Bachmann versions to use Kato knuckle couplers. I haven't finished the original Farish coash pages yet. I am currently photographing stock to complete these. Hope this helps. Tony
  9. Are you able to advise which decals will be on the sheet? Thanks Tony
  10. It looks like D6109 received BR Blue (in some guise) but was not fully converted to a Class 29 with replacement engine. There has been a previous post on this - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php/topic/20925-d6109-in-traction-magazine/ My fingers are crossed that Dapol produce an N Gauge version at some point...... Regards Tony
