  1. Dave despite these being poor quality I decided to scan my images of Lady Angela at Kingston/Kegworth. They would have been taken around 1965 with a Brownie camera. I couldn't afford to take many photos. Thanks for posting your photographs - they fascinate me Richard
  2. The last photo brings back trainspotting memories as I grew up in Kegworth, The gypsum mine also had an 0-4-0 saddle tank callled Lady Angela. It was built by Peckett and sons and is now at the South Devon Railway Only the other day I came across a couple of really bad photos of it - certainly not good enough to scan and post to this thread!!
  3. Good photos of Wolverhampton. As they are of interest to canal enthusiasts I have taken the liberty of posting a link to a canal forum. https://canalworld.net/forums/index.php?/topic/93160-wolverhampton-october-1976/
  4. Just keep posting Dave - I for one will not get bored with your daily offering.
  5. Dave - many thanks for posting the photos they are much appreciated. Having grown up and continuing to live in the Loughborough area the local ones are particularly interesting although for work I regularly travel further afield by rail. Of particular interest are images with canals in them - they are my main interest. My avatar is the name of our boat. On current rolling stock there are a couple of odd ball HST sets on the Midland mainline - one has a Virgin buffet car still in Virgin livery and another has a first class coach in the middle of the standard class ones. All the best Richard
