    Hello, I`ve got a question concerning the A3`s rail guards/track clearers. Compared to most prototype photos they seem not to be correct to have on all A3 models. It looks as if there are normally 2 different ones on each side of the front bogie. One mounted at the bufferbeam and another, smaller one, sitting at the outer side of a characteristic square metal plate, which is completely missing. Regards Bernd

    Thank you a lot for your reply! It helps me, as, because of lacking clear visibility, it doesn`t seem to have been such a big mistake not to have modelled the air reservoir boiler! And very helpful, too, your statement concerning air brakes in GWR livery!!!

    Hello, on prototype photos of Weston, Clevedon , Portishead Railway both types of brakes are fitted( (at least at some) and the photos here should show the condition of A1X shortly after having been purchased by GWR. Regards Bernd

    Looks really great, Chris. Me, too, am glad having preordered a rivetted one. One question: on the right cab side it looks like the ATC bell. If this is so, wiil the model have an ATC pick up shoe under the back buffer beam ? Thanks and Regards Bernd
