  1. Hi Mike, I've made the same experience with the Heljan AC Railbus. The PCB looks very much like the one implemented in the AC Railbus, probably a standard type. And yes, "CN6" is the correct port for the speakers. The next issue is finding the corresponding type of plug. You (and others) will need this item http://uk.farnell.com/jst-japan-solderless-terminals/02sur-02sur-32w150/lead-2way-0-8mm-150mm/dp/3852313?ost=02SUR-02SUR-32W150&iscrfnonsku=false&ddkey=http%3Aen-GB%2FElement14_United_Kingdom%2Fsearch Like you I contacted Tower Models. They confirmed the issue and promised improvements with the next models from Heljan, no further help or support was given. Obviously Heljan didn't improve anything - very disappointing. It would be so easy to simply add two sentences to the instruction and supply a fitting connector (for a few cents) with the model. BTW Another guarantee issue with a broken part was also rejected with the simple reply, that Tower Models does not supply spare parts and to contact Heljan. No reply at all from Heljan at the given contact. The poorest kind of support I've experienced so far. Klaus
  2. Hi, just read in the latest issue of Railway Modeller that Chris & Chris will add the Gunpowder and improvised Gunpowder Vans to their range of rolling stock. An undecorated sample of the new body is shown on Page 891. What a lovely surprise! (once again) Regards Klaus
  3. Thank you for this very interesting update Steve. This construction looks near to genious for me. To be honest this very little loco was not on my list so far, but it's becoming more and more tempting, simply because of its innovative technology. Can't wait to see the final result. Klaus
  4. Hi, yesterday I took my new little loco and a couple of wagons to the monthly public evening at the club in Cologne. It was real fun to see the train making its way on the large club layout. I took some more pictures and a new video (click on the last picture) to get another impression of the performance of the Class 15. Hope you don't mind the continental environment Enjoy Klaus
  5. Hi Steve, thank you for the update. I can second Norman, your honestly and frankly way how you communicate every relevant aspect of your project is commendable. I know you’ve been working very hard to get the best result, so hopefully everyone appreciates all the passion and energy you spent on this project. I do!!! Someone asked for more pictures of the model, so here are some more plus a short video including a sound sample. I can assure, that this little loco deserves full marks. To everyone who is still waiting, there is absolutely no reason to hesitate. Simply enjoy! Greetings from Germany (and apologies for my poor English) Klaus
