  1. Another cracking layout Steve. We need to get you back into Pontefract show Regards Richard.
  2. A big thanks to all exhibitors traders volunteers especially the kitchen staff, but most of all a big thank you to every visitor young and old, without your support we would be nothing. We were up on adult visitors but seemed to be slightly down on children compared to last year but to me there seemed more youngsters this year. Hope you all had a very enjoyable time over the weekend and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Thanks once again, Richard.
  3. One of the outstanding models from Bob Dawson.
  4. Hughie, you can keep the sarnies, I want the chocolate cakes.
  5. Nearly here, hope to see plenty of rmwebbers over the weekend. If I’m not on Tatton yard I will be near the club oo gauge drop by and say hello
  6. Very enjoyable day once again, here’s to next year. Hopefully one year I will get a layout built to bring down.
  7. Kingsbey the New OO gauge layout from the club, should be running primarily blue diesel at shows. Richard
  8. Has there been some changes to the line up.
  9. Come see the new club oo layout first time outing Kingsbey.
  10. Enjoyed Warley show some nice layouts, but seem to think something was missing this year, can’t figure out what it was though.
  11. Where did you source the decals from. I need some for my hoods. Thanks Richard
  12. Got two hoods off Mark for my Spas. Got them painted tonight will do a pic tomorrow when dry. They look really good. Just need to find some transfers.
  13. Halifax model centre has moved around the corner. Cheers. Richard.
  14. Hi Chris, it was who bought the class 143 from you at warley last year. I will pm you Thanks Richard.
  15. From what I remember. The earlier 47s were taken in part from the class 57 mouldings. This resulted in there being raised dots around the cab windows. The 57 has these for the reinforced windshields I believe and the 47s don't. I remember it being a big thing in some of the reviews. I do not believe it was just this that lead to a retool. Richard.
  16. Good to see the layout in the flesh today. Came away with some enthusiasm for building a new layout.
  17. Penning models still trading strong. Stuart rents the shop it's the landlord who wanted to sell up but with a long term tenant in place. Hopefully everything sorted and pennine there for a few more years
  18. Looks good Hughie, can't wait to see it on a layout.
  19. Will the immediate result be mass dumping of product at bargain prices to recoup as much as possible, thinking along the lines of Lima twenty years back and more recently Heljan. If this is the case I feel sorry for the traders/ dealers who have bought stock at standard trade prices, these will take a lot longer to sell. I hope this doesn't lead to more model shops/traders closing their doors. I agree that letting the bean counters have control of just about everything isnt always the best policy. There needs to be people involved who have a genuine interest within the hobby/business. The bigwigs will always walk into another well paid job. Its the bread and butter shop floor workers who will struggle. Just wish I was the 33.3m winner who came forward the other week.
