  1. Your only going to waste time if its rubbish if not then its a bonus....keep it stored flat....
  2. Does it make a difference, simple answer not tried on my rolling road but on a small oval roughly a hour each way and the loco is certainly smoother running and speeds up a bit.....
  3. Some superb weather just a point for people to make a note of the cab windows would be kept clean there were cleaners on Loco Sheds waiting to progress to Fireman/Secondman that's all i did for first months of employment
  4. I made some platforms just using 18mm MDF tapered the ends for the slopes, made a narrow rebate along the platform edge and pva'd in strips of heavy duty printing paper, if you want the platform to be high add to the base of the MDF.....
  5. I used a 6 way Tam Valley Hex frog Juicer on my 3 way points, connection are DCC bus wire to the 2 inlets then there's 6 single frog wires just run a wire to each frog, job done....... http://www.coastaldcc.co.uk/products/tamvalley/hex-frog-juicer-universal
  6. Class 33's would hunt left and right the track condition never helped, Class 73's bounced up and down on a rough track hitting the bogie going down and it was only the chains stopped it jumping off the pin on up movement, as said 47's wallowed left and right how bad, well on the down slow at St Mary Cray through the station on a slight right curve the loco would go over to the left and as it traveled over the viaduct i could look down and see all the brickwork to the ground very slowly it came back up, Class 09's just about stayed on the track at 27-1/4 mph bone shakers to the extreme......
