  1. Really enjoyed reading this topic, great layout. Funnily, I did the opposite of you and went from a terminus to a roundy round. I'll have to keep following, as great inspiration for ideas!
  2. ]Sorry about the wrong angled photos, i'll work out how to change them... My first take at weathering below, these are EWS Railroad wagons, hoping they look alright... I've not touched any loco's yet!
  3. Welcome to the journey of building my latest Model Railway. Era 4, 1950's, an imagined station after Nationalisation between the old SR and GWR (so I can run stock I like and want). The general plan is to have a through station, with goods yard, Engine Shed. The track will run around the edge of the loft (2 tracks), with a fiddle yard eventually off scene. At present, I have laid the majority of the station track, however, their very much is a great deal left to do regarding track laying. Scenery wise, I envisage a more rural setting, so plenty of green. This is going to be my first large scale model railway, so I will be taking my time and obviously, will need to purchase a great deal the required kits, stock, locos etc. Anyway, some pics below of where I am:
