  1. I thought that it was the "Hokey-Pokey".
  2. I think that one of these would be just fine:
  3. Hmmm, I just can not seem to get away from Polar Bears: Somehow it just followed me home.
  4. My rubber duckie is a bit different: But at least it is also rail-related!
  5. The only UK tv program (series?) that I have seen was "The Crown"; I thoroughly enjoyed it. The actor doing Churchill got it extremely right!

    What a beautiful cat!
  7. I do not watch OTA tv; I have a 52 inch flat screen that has abut a half hour tv time on it. I bought it for two porpoises purposes; one as a computer monitor and the other to watch my laserdiscs.

That was a hard post to "rate", the heart for Rafferty or the clapping hands for the new kitten. The open book seemed the best solution to me. So, what is the kitten's name?
  9. Not the way that I remember Harrison in MY FAIR LADY (the Broadway play, not the movie).
  10. Captain Jerk of the starship NCC BOOBY PRIZE maybe?

I do not know about the UK but that stuff is available here OTC.
  12. The power backup at the old Fort Lauderdale C O: And to give an idea of the size of the bus bars: Batteries handled the load until the turbine generator on the roof kicked in, about a minute or so to stabilize: When the above photos were taken, only a small toll operation was in service and that was bring moved across the street at the time. I had a tour of the place on a Saturday when the workers were not there. I was not told that I could bring tools so I really did not get much salvage:
  13. I do not know which is the worse-looking, that "thing" or the moderne cruise ships!

Good thing that did not happen soon after the lockdown! That would have been a real catastrophe!

I have seen many funny variants of that but one that sticks in mind was called: "Forget hovercat, here is monorailcat:" It was a photo https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/monorail-cat
  16. That is something that I have to get back to. I used to be very good at hanging overhead for trolley (tram to yinz over there!) operation; my hands are now a bit shaky but I might still be able to do it. It is a little hard to see, but here is a sample that I put up for a friend about forty years ago: EDIT: It is still up and functional except for one trolley wire hangar that needs to be re-hung. EDIT #2: To correct some spelling errors
  17. .177 would be my choice as BBs are that calibre (I think) and they also make great weights for hopper cars! Almost infinite total weight adjustments.
