I was lucky enough to score a K-Line EP-5 (originally O gauge three-rail) that someone had converted to two-rail: According to some, the K-Line Jet compares very favorably (possibly better than) the brass import.

The system was called "common battery"; there was a turbine-powered generator on the top floor (somehow I never got a photo of it) that was automajically up and running within a short time to power the system in the event of a longer power failure.

EDIT: Note that these photos were taken with a 640x480 resolution Sony Mavica camera that used a 3½" floppy for storage.It was inserted like a film plate in a Speed Graphic.

I have heard that about a lot of "big names". Some interesting stories about Presidential treatment of the White House staff are very interesting to read. The treatment went from almost family to street dirt.

Thank you. I just ordered one. I already had one in OO (card kit) that I had planned to scan and enlarge, but this one makes the whole process simpler.
