I have seen many funny variants of that but one that sticks in mind was called:
"Forget hovercat, here is monorailcat:" It was a photo

That is something that I have to get back to. I used to be very good at hanging overhead for trolley (tram to yinz over there!) operation; my hands are now a bit shaky but I might still be able to do it. It is a little hard to see, but here is a sample that I put up for a friend about forty years ago:
EDIT: It is still up and functional except for one trolley wire hangar that needs to be re-hung.
EDIT #2: To correct some spelling errors

.177 would be my choice as BBs are that calibre (I think) and they also make great weights for hopper cars! Almost infinite total weight adjustments.

The beauty of Polish birthday parties is that there is always enough cake to feed four times more people than attend.
Don't want to run out you see.
Thus there are lots of left overs that get shared out.
Guess what will be served soon with coffee.

Oddly, I just finished some pierogies* for dinner; commercially made/frozen but still good.
*I had to look at the package to make sure that I spelled it correctly; as autocorrect wanted to substitute " groupies" for pierogies!

Not over here, either. Other US areas may differ, though.

Let them grow and see what you might have. I have done that and been (usually) pleased by the result.

She may just be being polite (y"know, keeping the Guv"nor happy).
When she starts to insist her dinner is served in a LMS/GWR/SR/LNER/BR liveried dog bowl, you'll know you have trained her right.
Would WB&A, WM, B&O, MA&PA, do in a pinch?? 🙃

@Happy Hippo Referring back to your visit to Chirk Castle, here's a couple of snaps of the Civil War re-enactors I saw there on a visit...
Odd. I do not see any grey there; or bluebellies for that matter!

Very brave of you to own up to this. I wonder if any other members have the courage to make similar confessions? 🙂
As posted above (somewhere):
No idea as to source as I got it at a US train show here in SC for a dollar. It is a little smaller than H0.

I always wondered what "going off in a huff" would sound like.
Depends on what year Huff it is, the 1936s sound totally different from the 1939s.

Erm, why is there a 1/4 inch tape spool on the turntable?
Actually it is a platter mat, replacing the stock one.

Well, the weather did indeed put paid to my hoped-for trip to Attingham Park this afternoon. Instead I tried to fix our ancient Technics record deck of at least 25 years of age which refuses to do anything remotely connected with playing a record. Sadly I was unable to find what is wrong so transferred my efforts to looking for someone who can fix it. I think I may have found one in Nantwich, which is only about 15 miles away so I've sent an email asking whether they can, in fact, help and hope to hear from them on Monday. My sons think that I should embrace new tech and get an Alexa or something rather than persist with vinyl records and such but although I have gone as far as CDs and even iTunes I still like playing my old discs.
Dinosaur, me? I've even got an electric soldering iron!

Well, $15 (today's conversion rate) for me and very well worth it as it helps support the forum.
That makes it:
1.25 a month
0.29 a week
0.04 a day
Probably the second best train forum bargain on the 'net!
The first is the OGR* forum at $10 a year.
I do both and the enjoyment from them just can not be measured monetarily.
*O Gauge Railroading magazine sponsors it. There are at least two of us here on both.
