I have now binned all my Humbrol paints.
I prefer to rely on the EU REACH regulations to keep me safe from carcinogenic substances, and I won't be buying stuff which is illegal in mainland Europe.
My personal decision. As the paints are now permitted under uk rules it is a matter of personal choice but I for one will be boycotting these paints.
I would suggest you take a detailed look at how REACH works for proposal, consultation, decision and implementation of substances.
There is almost as much room for industrial lobbying, as there is science on both sides of the channel.

Com port changing is often simply a sign you have used a different USB port to the previous occasion (for any device, not just a sprog).

Probably cause this is one of the first major deviations of the uk and EU’s REACH regulations (which previously were identical/aligned) at a retail level since brexit and people are human…

One pleasent surprise was the catering. Leisure Centre can be a bit rubbish, but this one offered some very popular bacon butties and hot dogs (I counted a dozen sold first thing Sunday morning, including the one in my gob) and superb cake. There was a cafe in the hall, and a buttie van in the car park.
It was a bit of a puzzle how the simply BLT sandwich could be so good and the coffee so incredibly S*£&Having not been before It was nice to see an exhibition with such a variety of large layouts to allow long trains or decent shunting manoeuvres.
The layouts all seemed to be to a very high standard and even on the Sunday all the operators seemed to be enjoying themselves, not a bad thing on a three day show.

Reminds me of a major software update on our accounts software/ERP once, shot up to 98% in an hour and then sat there for three days….the release notes had been clear about not interrupting it….it was just luck I had chosen the afternoon before good Friday to implement it!!!!!!- 3

Some people will do anything to avoid the poisoned chalice. I wonder who the super sub will be?

Frankly if they just went names out of a hat to set an order for a single hot lap it would probably be more interesting (for the tv audience at least).

Does your mobile reach it if you turn WiFi off (or go out of its range) and use mobile data?

Might be worth rebooting your router as well, just in case that has cached something.

The p-way gang my dad worked for apparently knocked some sort of signal bonding wire out of place, turning a green straight to red directly in front of an HST on the GWR mainline at one point (would have been late 70’s/early 80’s).
Apparently it took the brakes a while to cool off and the driver wasn’t very polite to them….

How much salt in the air would the chassis have been exposed to when shipping from Japan?

I have had batteries for a month now and so far not had any power from the grid so only costing me £0,08 per day standing charge
I know that come the winter it will be different
but IF i can find a offpeak supply then maybe half price overnight could mean no daytime rate power will be needed
Can I ask what size solar array and batteries you have? We are due to move soon and I am hoping to get Solar installed in the new property but not sure how much battery capacity would be worthwhile. -
When the sky deal expires it will be interesting to see what online options are available in the next licensing arrangement, apparently Bernie didn’t see it as an important growth area and pretty much gave said rights to Sky for the uk market…

Half the problem is that sending companies try and shift their responsibility to the customer, here’s a tracking number, sort yourself out with the carrier.
If they all had to take proper responsibility for their contractors actions it would likely improve the communications dramatically.

Am I right in thinking Monaco is the only circuit that don’t pay a fee to F1 to host a race?
scratch that, it’s the lowest fee on the calendar https://racingnews365.com/how-much-each-circuit-on-the-calendar-pays-to-formula-1

The problem is you really need a mix of incremental and complete as incremental don’t always work when you hit the restore button on line databases…

Hi @AY Mod
Likewise mine seems to have disappeared and I would be grateful if you could add me to the list when you get a chance to look into the issue.
Thanks

Competitor decides how their fine is spent… not necessarily a bad cause but again the F1 tail wagging the dog when it comes to the rule book…

(What else can I avoid from "DP World"?)
Given their dominance in the ownership of uk container ports it is likely a third of all imported goods put money in their books (even if only a few pence per item)…- 1

Her gas "smart" meter has also just started to not send in readings too so no doubt that'll also mean more phone calls to to try and sort out.
My understanding is that most gas smart meters piggyback off the electric meter to send the readings in.- 3

I haven’t been overly impressed with the forced migration from SSE to OVO, but I do like the way that entering a meter reading online at any time, then automatically works out and shows the balance to date within around 2 minutes.
(Less keen on the way you submit a reading on the last day of the billing period, and they still estimate a figure to take it up to Midnight of that day)

Maybe he’s trying to promote reasons to visit, imagine how much it could be worth to local businesses in refreshments, parking and eggs if it takes off….
