  2. Hi, I started this Jumbo years ago at Expo EM when Penlan was on show. For some reason I Just couldnt get it running that well..... So I had a spare set of etches for a jumbo so I made up a new chassis and it runs beautifully. Then I had a look at the body etches and.............. Well. .........

  5. I have done the operating rods for the drain cocks. I didnt use the etched part in the kit as it seemed to be a bit on the big side. I do feel how ever that these may be quite delicate. They need a bit of cleaning up.

  7. I find the cab a bit tricky also. When I do the Teutonic I hope to do the same as John Gowers and use two motors. First I must finish the Lady of the Lake and the A class John

  11. A couple of photos of my Lady of the Lake, she's not far from being finished
  12. Just cut the jig out and form the footplate. I annealed mine but Jol said that its not necessary to do that. Thats the worst part over. Then its Just the cab and splashers. Then stop and have a long think. I only have a meter of track although I have Just put a short piece of film on the LNWR facebook page of it running John

  16. Hi, a bit more work on the A class. The wheels are not fixed yet as I am waiting for the motor, gearbox and horn guides before I can do that. Still lots to do though John
