  3. Hi im doing some more work on the Lady of the Lake locomotive, ive Just fitted the connecting rods. I have used Alan Gibson horn guides on this engine, they are quite fiddly but seem to have turned out ok. Im not sure that I would use them on a couple engine John
  4. I am fittings springs to LRM horn guides as the is chassis Will be sprung.
  5. Hi Jol Thank you for that, that means that the 7ft 6 wheel is ok to use. Mike when I fitted the crank pin I drilled a small Hole in between the spokesbefore thread ing the screw in, the Hole was smaller than the screw but it made fittings the screw much easier. The kit isnt too bad to make, im not that good at building engines but I am pleased with it so far. If you do mess something up John is good at supply ing extra etches. John
  6. I would be interested to know what size the wheels were after they had been reprofiled a few times John
  7. Hi, I did ask him about this a while ago and he said that he had too much on. He has quite a nice project on. John
  8. Catching up with the Jumbo, John Redrup has Just sent me a new chimney its an update casting and it is significantly better than the old one. I would like this and the Lady of the Lake finished this year.
  9. Hi Mike, I have used the Gibson 7ft 6inch Spinner wheels. If you look you can see where I have put thr crank pin.

  13. Maybe time to think about that smal layout Mike. A factory, Wagon turn tables, timber, pipes , grain, capstans. Lots of modeling interest for a Wagon man.
