  1. Thanks Paul, is it also worth buying nylon brushes and a reamer?

    Hi Tony,

I am using "the other ebay model" cleaning station with the black cap. I guess they are quite comparable.

Regarding mechanical cleaning of the airbrush equipment: I tried to clean it using tooth picks, cotton swabs and things like that. Never got good results. Today I am using a cheap ultrasonic bath instead. Needle, nozzle and all other removable parts as well as the body are going into a small vessel with cleaner and then into the US-bath. I have no more problems with cloggin or poor results since then. The ultrasonic bath is also used to stirr up the sediments in paint and to clean the models before painting. All in all, a good 40€ investment.

    regards,

    Michael

  2. I made the depth 24", but I feel this may be too deep.

    Tony,

I am using the Amazon unit you mention in your first post. I notice sometimes that the suction into the booth is not strong enough so that some mist escapes the airflow. This may be overcome if your booth is deep enough to actually work INSIDE the channel. I don't know how strong your airflow is, but I think that deeper may be better in your case.

    cheers,

    Michael
