    Just bought a Hornby rolling road and one of the roller screws has sheared off. Not happy at all.

    OK, so I knuckled down and ballasted! Only the final 8 inches or so at the station throat to do. :)

    Yes, I am still ballasting - there isn't a lot, it's just taking me forever to do it...

      I think you're probably right. I enjoy it once I'm actually doing it - and of course when it's done, I can stand back and say "I did that" and feel good about it. I must try harder, I think.

      I also like ballasting, I find it relaxing also, but others find it a nightmare to do?
