  2. Looks great there Mark! Rannoch is a truly inspirational concept and design, you should be pleased with the work you are doing buddy Do keep us posted... Danny
  3. It also needs to be considered that traincrews need route knowledge of the journey they are taking. I have seen tours beofore with a DBS 66 at one end and a FL 66 at the other. This may need 2 traincrews yes, but i am unsure whether DB Schenker specify it has to be one of their crew on their locos as most if not all FL drivers sign 66's. Danny
  4. The DB 66 brought the tour up into Crewe where the 70 joined. It was probably left on for insurance giving the reputation of the 70's at the moment! If i'm correct?? Danny
  5. That last shot is simply stunning! Just reaming with nostalgic goodness, i must admit i had to take a double look Will hopefully be able to contribute more when i get mylayout finished, but heres one ive had on my Hardrive for a while... 37229 shunts onto a rake of bogie bolster wagons to form a train to Basford Hall. 22. Ahh a very local area to me! Still somewhere i havnt visited yet supprisingly, it looks a good spot to catch the coal train when it runs. 70006 was on it today. Some nice shots James, very helpful to buld up the modern industrial grimey feel! Danny
  23. Hello again everyone! It's been a while since my last entry, as quite frankly ive been rather busy with a new job and college work. Nether the less i have done some minimal work on the nw Shed for my yard. this is loosley based on the design for the low relief shed on my boxfile as i liked what i had achieved and wanted to replicate it on a sightly bigger scale! So heres a few snaps of it right now as the paint and glue dries for initial asembly. appologies for the quality these were took on my iphone in low light!! The main structure is Foamboard with thin card mounted ontop to create the various layers of the building both inside and out. Brickwok is simply a sheet printed from a well known model railway site. Will have to wait a few days now beofore i can get the materials i need to do the roof as i start college again tomorrow Then the next job will be to fit the extensive interior lighting i want to include in my model! So any opinions and thoughts please let me know as i'd love to know what people thing! Hope everyone had a good Christmas and happy New Year! Regards, Danny
