  1. I used 6 mm ply in a monocoque design, so structure rather than material thickness giving the strength. So far, so good............... Cheers Alun
  2. Yup, I'd second that recommendation. Cheers Alun
  3. Another positive vote from me. Good. friendly, well-informed and helpful. Cheers Alun
  4. I found similar with thin plywood - not sure if it's the the same size you are talking about though. I got reasonable results by dampening them with warm water and pressing them overnight – it improved things quite a bit. See here. Cheers Alun
  5. I'd support the votes for Digitrains. Jeremy is a very helpful guy and has always provided the goods in a timely fashion, plus his prices are usually competitive. I agree the site isn't easy all the time, but I suspect it's because there's only so many hours in the day and they've got their hands full - helping punters like me. Having said that, a good site does make a difference - I guess it's up to him how he runs his business but he can see the feedback here, of course........... Cheers Alun
  6. Ron Ron Ron. Most appreciated Thanks Alun
  7. I'm desperately missing my reference source "http://www.Bachmann.co.uk/pdfs/branchline_products_by_item_no_rev11.pdf".Did any kind person download it and could send to me? Cheers Alun
