Here's a 1989 picture of a Santa Fe Railway piggyback train in Pasadena, California. The train is running in the median of the Foothill Freeway(Interstate 210 or I-210). The Super Chief, Southwest Limited, and Southwest Chief trains of the Santa Fe/Amtrak used to traverse this route back in the day. Today, the freeway median is double-tracked and the L.A. Metro L Line(formerly Gold Line) light rail trains run between suburban Azusa and East Los Angeles via Downtown Los Angeles. Keith, the Santa Fe Railway used blue and yellow switchers from the 1960's all the way into the 1990's. As a native metro Angeleno, I totally agree with you. In the last three decades, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority(LA Metro) had spent gobs of money on rail infrastructure(light rail/subway) and they are still building new train routes today! Wendell Idaho, USA -

Paul, most of the time, I deliver food items to a store, warehouse, or a distribution center from different companies. I am so glad that my trucking company wants to haul food loads because people got to have food and water to survive.
