    Our annual show returns to The Cheese and Grain at Frome this January. Our friendly show is packed with layouts, demonstrations and traders, backed up by the excellent catering at the Cheese and Grain Venue. The Cheese and Grain is located at Market Yard, Frome, Somerset, BA11 1BE Saturday 6th - Sunday 7th January 2024. There is paid parking at the venue with easy access into Frome for those that fancy some shopping. The Exhibition is open from 10:00 -16:00 on both days. Entry is £6 per Adult, Children are FREE.     Old - our club is a member of the association and since being part of the exhibition we have offered to have a more involved part in the show as I would like to see a good exhibition down here However knowing how hard the two guys who organised the show worked I do find the negativity within the hobby quite shocking, There is nothing wrong with constructive criticism and advice, however moaning helps no one. If you want a good show near home then say what was wrong and recommend what you would like to see instead.

    Old - as it seems you are determined to be negative about the whole thing may I suggest you ask before stating we were inadequate at the organisation of the show. As a matter of fact the local council were also approached for discounted parking, which the venue assured was available, however along with everything else related to Paignton council the request was turned down. For your information the association will look after the clubs effected by parking fines, as they do with every exhibition. I must admit having read some of the comments I do question the point of trying to organise an exhibition.

    Alex - I think the proscenium would benefit from dropping a few inches, as you said the boards of Upwell drove are fairly narrow. We had some really positive feedback about your layout Alex, thanks for bringing it along to the show and hopefully you enjoyed yourself. Now the important bit, did I convince you to change over to sound etc ! Cheers Chris
