Hello all. The wheel sets on my fleet of Jouef mark three coaches have developed an annoying habit of coming loose on their axles thus having very 'variable' gauges and derailing regularly after being trouble free for ages. Given they are not at all bad models for their age and I wish to keep running them, what would members recommend as suitable modern replacements that are a straight swap and free running? Part numbers appreciated

One of those old-school sports and model shops that have fallen by the wayside. On that note Bayley's in Macclesfield. A little model shop on the street round the corner from Crewe station - name forgotten. Trains and Transport in Sheffield had a retail premises. The model shop in Elsecar Heritage Centre that only took cash and was a long drive from a cashpoint. Not good business in the 2010s! Peak Model Shop in Buxton. The Model Shop on Deansgate in Manchester. Ashton Model Centre (U-Lyne not Makerfield) City Centre Models in the main Hanley shopping area in Stoke. Pleasure Treasures in Burslem. Sorry to hear that. Last chapter in the TAG era. Visited once a week up until the end when I worked in Doncaster. At least the Panda Models shop keeps the hobby alive in the town and will give me a new destination.
