That map is from about 1850. 

Major rebuild around 1903 and many later changes.

Suggest searching nls for a large scale map of the era you wish to model.

That plan is not entirely faithfull to reality. There was (and stiil is) a trailing crossover to allow departures from platform 6 to the Up Main. There never was AFAIK a facing crossover Down Main/Up main just east of the platforms. Fisherton Yard never had a direct connection to/from the running lines - it was connected to the stub end of the GWR Down line which was a kickback from platform 1; just as the present day Traction Depot is connected.  Several other changes possible depending on your space/desires.

IIRC When 442s were diesel hauled on engineering works diversions, it was quickly discovered there was no interlock to the doors.

There was previous legislation which I believe was superceded by the 2011 act. IIRC legislation was introduced soon after WW2.

As well as various safeguards to protect young fingers etc it also limited the maximum voltage for powered toys to 24v. Previously , I think, there had been 110v locos!

There certainly has been some steam on the mainline with through air pipes (i think 61994 was one), but wasnt sure if that was only for rescue purposes.

 

in the same veign, could the tail loco be the power source for cdl and thus use similar solutions of other operators ?

It means a tail loco is on every train, but not every steam loco needing a full air brake & pump system installed ?

Would it need to be a loco? A generator van could fulfil the same purpose.

Plenty of examples of very drunk people trying to open aircraft doors mid-flight, which are definitely not something you can stumble against or accidentally knock open.

Maybe he thought it was a compartment door or the toilet. 

Imternal door handles would be perfectly safe WITH CDL.

In the 1960's BR accounting year was 1st Jan to 31st Dec. It changed to 1st April - 31st March in the 1980's sometime but do not recall actual year.

Nothing to do with Woking station. It is the footbridge just west of Woking Junction.
