Wills kits SS55 brick arch overlays may be useful. Depends on your window width.

So, just who am I (unfortunately) looking at? The faces mean nothing to me (and maybe to others, also).
Look closely at the one on the left (all in white). clue: he is a railway modeller too.

Rails seem to be heavily discounting the first batch that arrived. Could be some wait for 3 car BR Green set.
A very long wait.
The only carriages expected are in SR malachite green.

Perhaps because existing customers are likely to cease ordering (we all will eventually).
Though that might well be preceded by the supplier wanting to retire anyway....
Or indeed cease trading for other reasons. Consumers need providers as much as providers need consumers.

if any enterprise sells all it wants via the channels it already uses, where's the point in expanding into new ones and potentially turning a pleasurable lifestyle into a demanding slog?

Don't think they got west of Salisbury very often but here's 33007 coming into Salisbury from the west with the appropriate headcode.
Ah yes but, that's 1963 and may only be a shunt move within station limits.

Given that the railway between Bletchley and Bedford St John is currently effectively closed due to a shortage of suitable rolling stock, is there any sign that this period of disuse will be used to start the upgrade to become an eventual link in the Oxford to Cambridge Railway?
That would be so sensible.
No chance!

Whatever.
I hope you celebrated the turn of the Millenium on the correct date, not 1st Jan 2000, like everyone else did. 🙄🙄😉😉
Yes, indeed I did. And the new century also on the correct date.

not seeing anything about an announcement on faceache
latest post there is 3 days old

12am = midnight
12pm = midnight
unlikely announcement time
more likely 12 noon
pedant mode off

If the person that had had the 3 declined purchases (approved by phone call) wasn't me, then surely the person using the same landline that confirmed it was me could also have been the imposter.
How would an imposter be using your landline?`

In the 1980s I used to travel regularly from London to Exeter visiting family, and I took my bicycle with me for transport to/from the stations at each end. HST bicycle accommodation was very limited, so I travelled from Waterloo. The usual sets were 6-8 coaches, of which the middle two were usually van to van BSOs [the only vans on the train], apparently to ensure the vans were always on the platform at stations.
Never saw a BSO on any Waterloo-Exeter train but plenty of BFKs.

Ah, thought you meant the gantry in the foreground. Looking in the magnifier I see what you mean.
