    I was looking forward to the release of Bachmann’s Class 94xx 0-6-0T in GWR livery which I thought was due this year But it looks like it’s going to be September/October next year (according to Hattons) Is there anyone out there ‘in the know’ who can clarify the release date?

    Unfortunately this one is worse than the first one, not only was the running awful but the body was a bit bashed I won’t be having a third!....or anything else produced by Oxford Rail

    Not a happy bunny! I’ve had to return my first one because of running issues The replacement has arrived today and there’s paint missing in multiple areas, scuffed in others Hattons have obviously agreed to have it back so can’t fault them for their customer service but still disappointed Undecided whether or not to go for a third

    I used to build 009 locos before returning to OO so luckily I have loads of handrail knobs and brass wire spare Do you have any photos of your loco with the handrail upgrade? What I used to do with handrail painting was to drill holes in a scrap piece of plasticard at the correct handrail knob centres, then assemble and paint the handrail whilst on the plasticard. then once dry remove from the plasticard and attach the whole painted assembly to the loco in one go

    I have a parcel waiting for me at home containing dean goods #2 If this one doesn't perform satisfactorily it will be going back for a refund instead of a replacement We shouldn't really have to 'fix' brand new locos

    My Oxford Rail Dean Goods ran beautifully, quiet and smooth at very slow speeds.............but only in reverse Going forward it would move about 200mm, stop, have a think then move another 200mm I'm awaiting a replacement, although after reading some of the posts on here I'm beginning to think a refund may have been a better option

    The only issue I have with my Andrew is the wibbly wobbly hand rails, it's not a big issue but I know it will grate on me to the point of me having to replace them
